Purpose
The Veterans Service Commission was established for the purpose of assisting veterans and their dependents who have been met with an unexpected hardship as a result of sickness, injury, or disease; becoming destitute because of lack of employment; or being unable to find gainful and adequate employment.
Of primary importance are the basic necessities of life, such as food, shelter, and clothing. It is the purpose of the Commission to assist veterans and their dependents temporarily until a permanent solution to their difficulties can arranged.
Attention Veterans:
Where is your service discharge? Ohio Law empowers the County Recorder to record your discharge, but only if you request it. It is not automatically recorded when you are separated from the service.We
